Miami skyline and vibrant culture.

Miami is a bustling metropolis located in southeastern Florida, with a population of over 442.000 within the city limits and over 6.1 million in the broader Miami metropolitan area. Known for its sunny beaches, art deco architecture, and Latin American influences, Miami is a fantastic city.

A Tropical Playground on the Atlantic

Just across the causeway from downtown Miami lies Miami Beach, a separate municipality famous for its 7-mile long stretch of white sand beaches. With an average year-round temperature of 25°C, Miami Beach is a popular vacation spot, attracting visitors from around the world to enjoy its lively South Beach neighborhood, upscale hotels, trendy restaurants, and vibrant nightlife.

Embracing Miami's Vibrant Culture Before Our Cruise

Spending a few days in Miami before our cruise gave us the chance to enjoy the city’s vibrant energy. We explored the Art Deco buildings, wandered the lively streets of South Beach, and enjoyed some fantastic food. It was the perfect way to kick off our Caribbean adventure.

Stay

The Lennox Miami Beach

For our pre-cruise stay in Miami, we had the pleasure of calling The Lennox Hotel our home. This 4-star boutique hotel, part of the prestigious Small Luxury Hotels of the World collection, is located in the vibrant heart of South Beach.

The Lennox offers a peaceful escape from Miami’s lively atmosphere, with a beautifully landscaped pool area surrounded by lush greenery. We stayed in a lovely ground-floor room, just two metres from the pool, elegantly furnished and equipped with top-quality amenities.

A Luxurious Oasis in the Heart of South Beach

The hotel's attentive staff and handy location made it the perfect base for exploring everything Miami has to offer before our Caribbean cruise. We enjoyed breakfast and the great bar service from the Italian waiter. There’s even a Laurent Perrier Champagne vending machine! We highly recommend The Lennox Hotel for anyone looking for a luxurious, relaxing stay in the heart of South Beach.
