Lokerse Feesten 2026

One day at the Lokerse Feesten that stands out this summer is 2 August 2026. On the Mainstage, three names from the golden era of electronic pop take the stage: Gary Numan, Soft Cell and The Human League. Their music helped shape the sound of the 1980s, and hearing them live on the same night promises a atmosphere. Ik you love classic synth-pop and a strong festival setting, this is the evenings to mark in your agenda (we did). Tickets via Lokerse Feesten.

Fragonard: a living perfume heritage in Grasse

Founded in Grasse in 1926, Fragonard remains one of the few perfume houses with a clear family story. What started as a small artisanal perfumery working with local flowers has grown into a house with three factories, six museums and twenty four boutiques, all closely linked to Provence. The brand continues to focus on concentrated perfumes and essential oils, alongside everyday products such as soaps, lotions and shower gels. Practical sustainability is part of the approach, with refill systems and recyclable materials designed to reduce waste. Fragonard also helps keep Grasse’s perfume heritage alive through its museums and workshops, which show how raw materials are turned into finished fragrances.

Saint Charles, a historic Viennese pharmacy with a modern holistic vision

Founded in 1886 on Gumpendorfer Straße in Vienna, Saint Charles began as a traditional pharmacy created by Alfred Blumenthal. The original wooden cabinets from the Austro Hungarian period still define the interior today, anchoring the brand firmly in Central European pharmaceutical history. In 2006, sixth generation pharmacist Alexander Ehrmann expanded the concept into natural cosmetics, holistic treatments and wellness products inspired by Traditional European Medicine. Today the brand offers around 400 products, from soaps and creams to fragrances and therapeutic cosmetics, with a clear focus on organic ingredients, regional sourcing and responsible packaging. First trying the products during a stay at Botanic Sanctuary Antwerp confirmed the brand’s strengths, natural fragrance profiles, balanced formulations and a range for private use and high end hospitality.
