Post Lech Hotel

Hotel Post Lech Arlberg, a classic at the heart of Lech

Set in the very centre of Lech, Hotel Post Lech Arlberg is one of the village’s long established reference points. The five star hotel is owned and run by the Moosbrugger family and has been a member of Relais & Châteaux since the 1970s, a detail that says a great deal about its positioning and long term consistency.  © Photo: Post Lech

Timeless Alpine comfort

We visited Hotel Post Lech for a press tour, during which we explored a selection of rooms and suites, the restaurants and the spa. The location is a clear asset. Everything in Lech is within walking distance, while the hotel itself enjoys mountain views that reinforce the sense of staying in the Arlberg landscape.

Accommodation is varied and clearly designed with longer stays in mind. Interiors combine traditional Alpine elements with modern comfort, without pushing design trends too far. The result feels timeless, which suits the hotel’s profile and clientele.

Emostube Post Lech

Relaxed dining

Lunch was served in the Emostube, one of the hotel’s classic dining rooms. The atmosphere is relaxed and authentic, setting the right tone for well executed meal. We started with a very tasty salad, followed by venison that was cooked with respect for the product. The cooking is clearly rooted in regional traditions.

The wine list is equally well judged, with a clear emphasis on Austria, complemented by a selection of international labels. During lunch, we tasted wines from the family owned estate Schloss Gobelsburg, a name that aligns well with the hotel’s focus on heritage, consistency and quality.

Beyond the Emostube, Hotel Post Lech offers several restaurant concepts. This variety gives a welcome flexibility during a multi day stay and is a clear advantage in a resort hotel, where dining plays a central role in the overall experience.

The spa and wellness areas complete the experience. Pools (heated, indoor and outdoor), sauna facilities and quiet zones are designed to support recovery after skiing or hiking rather. Everything feels coherent, calm and well maintained. © Photo: Travel Magazine Belgium

Hotel Post Lech Arlberg is not about novelty. Its strength lies in family ownership, a clearly defined luxury positioning and a level of consistency built up over decades. We look forward to returning for a stay in the future to experience the hotel fully as guests.
